About the Author
Teresa Martinez was born in Monterrey, Mexico and has lived in Spain for three years. She studied graphic design at Arte A.C. (Arts Institute) and began to work as an editorial illustrator in 2002. She has worked for several editorials such as Richmond Publishing, SM Editorial, Oxford University Press, SEP (Secretary of Public Education), etc. and has also collaborated in projects with advertising agencies and newspapers. She has been selected to appear in the XIV, XVI and XIX Catalogues of Children’s Book Illustrators by the National Council for Culture and the Arts (CONACULTA), Mexico, and has an honorary mention award in the 2009 edition.
